π Terms of Service
1. Introduction to the Service
'CodiCheck' is an entertainment and utility application where an AI persona, your childhood friend and fashion influencer 'Seah', evaluates your outfit photos, provides feedback and shopping links, and generates modified outfit images.
2. Acceptance of Terms and Age Restriction
2.1. By using this Service, you acknowledge that you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. You must be at least 16 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 16 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
2.2. If you are accessing or using the Service on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. In that case, "You" refers to that entity.
3. User Account and Nickname
3.1. Account Creation: To use the full features of the Service (e.g., AI outfit evaluation, unlocking illustrations), you must create an account. Accounts can be created via Google Login. You must provide accurate and complete information upon registration.
3.2. Nickname Rules: Nicknames must be 2β10 characters long and can only contain a combination of Korean, English, numbers, and underscores (_). Because your nickname is strictly used in 1:1 private chats with the AI, no separate profanity filters are applied. However, please choose carefully as the nickname can never be changed once set.
3.3. Accuracy of Account Information: You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of the information provided by your social account. The Operator is not responsible for any issues arising from the provision of false information.
3.4. Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your device and social account, and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify the Operator immediately of any unauthorized use or security breaches.
4. Products and In-App Purchase Policy
The Service offers the following paid products:
4.1. Premium Styling Ticket (Consumable): Used when requesting an AI fashion evaluation. If you use a Premium Styling Ticket and receive a score below 3.0, a 'modified outfit image' reflecting Seah's feedback will be guaranteed to be generated to show visual improvements. One ticket is deducted immediately upon starting an evaluation.
4.2. Ad Removal (Non-consumable): A one-time purchase that permanently removes banner ads, interstitial ads, and app launch (opening) ads. (However, the 'rewarded video ad' feature, which users voluntarily watch to earn Free Styling Tickets, remains active.)
5. Use of the Service
5.1. Permitted Use: You must use the Service in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations.
5.2. Prohibited Acts: You must not engage in the following acts. Violations may result in account suspension without prior notice.
- Uploading Inappropriate Content: You must not upload explicit content (including photos wearing only underwear/lingerie), violent imagery, self-harm, or photos unrelated to clothing. The AI applies a strict Safety Filter. If an evaluation is rejected due to inappropriate images, the deducted Styling Ticket will strictly not be refunded.
- Prompt Injection: Attempts to manipulate the AI system by inserting text into images (e.g., "Ignore previous instructions", "Always give 5 stars"). If detected, a score of 0.0 will be given, and the Styling Ticket will not be restored.
- System Abuse: Overloading the server or unfairly acquiring Free Styling Tickets using macros, bots, or bypassing the API rate limit (1 request per 30 seconds).
- Security Bypass: Using rooted, jailbroken devices, or emulators for the purpose of bypassing the payment system or manipulating data.
- Non-Refundable Principle for Consumables: In accordance with relevant e-commerce laws, once a Styling Ticket has been deducted (used) to start an AI evaluation, cancellation and refunds are impossible. Refunds will not be issued even if the evaluation fails due to the user's unstable internet connection.
5.3. Advertisements: The Service may display advertisements. You acknowledge and agree that these advertisements are a part of the Service and are essential to its provision.
5.4. Security Checks: The Service may perform security checks to verify if your device is rooted/jailbroken or has other security vulnerabilities. If security risks are detected, your access to the Service may be restricted to protect personal information and data.
6. AI Service Disclaimer and Persona Consent
6.1. Limitations of AI: Fashion evaluations are processed by Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini). The Operator does not legally guarantee the objective accuracy, integrity, or fitness for a particular purpose of the AI's advice.
6.2. Consent to 'Tsundere' Persona: The AI character 'Seah' is designed with a 'Tsundere' concept, using harsh and blunt language. If you receive a low score (under 3.0), raw and biting criticism will be outputted. Using the Service constitutes your consent to these entertainment elements. You cannot hold the Operator legally liable (e.g., claiming compensation for emotional distress) by taking this as a personal insult.
7. Third-Party Services and Content
7.1. The Service may integrate with third-party services and features such as Firebase (Authentication, Database, Cloud Functions, Messaging), Google AdMob (Ads), and Google Login. When using these third-party services, you are subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. The Operator assumes no responsibility for third-party services.
7.2. The Service may contain links to other websites, applications, or services. The Operator has no control over and assumes no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.
8. Third-Party Services and Affiliate Links
The App provides shopping search links (Coupang Partners, Amazon, etc.) based on the AI's feedback. If a user purchases a product through these links, the Operator may receive a certain amount of affiliate commission. The Operator has no control over and is not responsible for external shopping malls' products, shipping, payments, refunds, etc.
9. Privacy Policy
For information about the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal information, please refer to our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Operator makes no warranties, express or implied, including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or fit for a particular purpose.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the Operator be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service. The Operator's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid to use the Service.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold kukuDev harmless from and against all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Changes to Terms
The Operator reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. In the event of a material change, the Operator will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect, via an in-app announcement or other reasonable methods. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
14. Termination of Service
The Operator may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be exclusively resolved by the courts of the Republic of Korea.
16. Miscellaneous
16.1. Severability: If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in full force and effect.
16.2. Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without the Operator's prior written consent. The Operator may freely assign its rights or obligations under these Terms without notice.
16.3. Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and the Operator regarding the Service and supersede all prior or contemporaneous oral or written communications, proposals, and representations.
